The concept of waste architecture is designing and building objects using discarded and waste materials. Playing with form, material and color of the raw materials at hand leads to new insights and shapes, which can’t be created on paper alone; it takes a different approach of sketching, adapting existing forms and then somehow connecting them. It is an art to make such changes to existing materials that places them in a different context which no longer has an association with the original function of the building materials, but works like a completely new design. This art form develops an innovative way of looking at existing materials and objects around us, creating a conscious look at modern life with all its abundance of waste materials and their value.
